Total Valve Systems is proud to represent Slade Packing, Inc, a premier group of products designed for reducing shaft and stem wear, minimizing pump flush requirements, minimizing VOC emissions and providing fire safe protection for valves handling flammable products. Slade packing is manufactured with a patented process where the vermiculated graphite is bonded to pure carbon fibers that produce a durable matrix of 99.5% pure carbon graphite sealing element. Unlike other products with simple graphite dispersion to produce sealing the graphite will not be washed out under normal conditions and will remain in to do the sealing.   • Braided graphite foil w/ carbon fiber reinforcement. Carbon fiber corners for anti-extrusion.
  • (pH 0-14) Temperatures to 1800°F (1000°C).

  • Valves: Pressures up to 5000 psi (350 kg/cm2).
  • Slade’s best all purpose pump and valve packing.

3300C

  • Braided graphite foil w/ carbon fiber reinforcement. Carbon fiber corners for anti-extrusion.
  • (pH 0-14) Temperatures to 1800°F (1000°C).
  • Pumps: No flush up to 4800 fpm (1400 m/min), most applications.
  • Valves: Pressures up to 1000 psi (70 kg/cm2).
  • lade’s most cost effective pump and valve packing.

3300CJ

  • Braided graphite foil w/ carbon fiber reinforcement.

3300CJK

  • 3300CJ w/ Kevlar corners and anti-extrusion ring to protect against particulate contamination.
  • Temperatures to 500°F (260°C).

  • Pressure: To 500 psi (34 bar).
  • Shaft speed: 4,000 fpm (20 m/s).
  • Ideal choice for high temperature slurry service.

1300-E

  • Offset square braided flexible graphite.
  • Temperature: -328°F (-200°C) to +850°F (+455°C). Atmosphere to +1200°F (650°C) in steam.
  • (pH 0-14) Except strong oxidizers.
  • Pressure: To 500 psi (34 bar).
  • Shaft speed: 4,000 fpm (20 m/s).
  • Entry level graphite packing, handles high temperature rotary and valve service.

1333-G

  • Offset square flexible graphite braid reinforced with graphite dispersion.
  • Temperature: -328°F (-200°C) to +850°F (+455°C). Atmosphere to +1200°F (650°C) in steam.
  • (pH 0-14) Except strong oxidizers.
  • Pressure: To 500 psi (34 bar).
  • Shaft speed: 4,800 fpm (23 m/s).
  • Garlock’s best all purpose pump and valve packing.

  • Inconel reinforced graphite tape with blocking agents.
  • Temperature: 1200°F (650°C) steam, 850°F (455°C).
  • (pH 0-14) Except strong oxidizers.
  • Pressure: Mod 1600 - To 8,400 psig (580 bar g). Mod 1601 – To 5,000 psig (345 bar g).
  • Shaft speed: 4,000 fpm (20 m/s).
  • Formulated to meet the purity requirements of the nuclear industry.

1724/324

  • Non-Hardening PTFE yarn treated with protective lubricants.
  • Temperature: 500°F (260° C).
  • (pH 0-14).
  • Pressure: 3,000 psig (210 bar g).
  • Chesterton’s guaranteed packing.
